Macara Mina hosts the potential for buried volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits with gold caps at surface.
The licence area covers 288 hectares in the south of Ecuador. The licence has undergone mapping, soil geochemistry and rock-chip sampling. Soil samples delivered up to 9.9 g/t gold, while rock chip samples achieved results up to 29.6 g/t gold over 1 meter.
Drill targets are under evaluation.
