Salazar Resources has entered into an agreement with Adventus Mining on the Curipamba project. Adventus Mining has earned 75% of Curimining, by completing investment and feasibility milestones. Salazar Resources retains a carried 25% stake all the way to production under the terms of the agreement. The project is the final permitting stage ahead of detailed engineering.
In addition, Salazar Resources has an Ecuador-wide Exploration Alliance with Adventus Mining that was originally designed to incorporate zinc targets but, at Salazar Resources’ discretion, it can incorporate projects with other metals.
Projects within the Exploration Alliance are fully carried on a 20% stake all the way to a construction decision, and the alliance currently includes two projects called Pijili and Santiago. Both project areas host copper-gold porphyry exploration targets, in conjunction with epithermal gold and silver veins.
