Vancouver, British Columbia – Salazar Resources Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX.V:SRL | FSE:CCG) announces a non-brokered private placement financing of up to 9 million units at $0.22 per unit for gross proceeds of $1,980,000. Each unit will consist of one common share of the Company and one-half of one transferable common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant will be exercisable to acquire one additional common share of the Company at $0.35 for a period of eighteen months from the date of closing of the private placement. Insiders will be participating in the private placement and there will be finders’ fees payable on a portion of the private placement. The net proceeds from the private placement will be used to fund the Company’s exploration properties and for general working capital purposes.

The securities issued under the private placement will be subject to a four-month hold period from the date of closing. The closing of the private placement is subject to, among other things, acceptance from the TSX Venture Exchange.
