VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jun 19, 2024 -- SALAZAR RESOURCES LIMITED (TSXV: SRL, OTCQX: SRLZF, Frankfurt: CCG.F) (“Salazar” or the "Company") announces that at the annual general meeting (the “Meeting”) of shareholders of the Company held on June 19th, 2024, the shareholders re-elected Messrs. Fredy Salazar, Pablo Acosta, Nick DeMare, Merlin Marr-Johnson, and Ms. Mary Gilzean as directors of the Company. Mr. Etienne Walter did not stand for re-election at the Meeting. The Board thanks Mr. Walter for his contributions during his 17 year tenure with the Company and we wish him the best in his future endeavours.
The shareholders also passed all other resolutions including an ordinary resolution ratifying the Company’s stock option plan, pursuant to which the Company may grant stock options up to 10% of its issued and outstanding common shares at the time of the grant. .
Following the Meeting, the directors appointed Mr. Fredy Salazar as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Mr. Pablo Acosta as Chief Financial Officer and Mr. Freddy David Salazar as Corporate Secretary. The Board also appointed Mr. Nick DeMare, Ms. Mary Gilzean and Mr. Merlin Marr-Johnson to the audit committee.
